Teaching with The Citation Code
Every exercise has a stable identifier (CC-04-05 is Exercise 4.5) and a complete explained answer, so assignments survive layout changes and students can check their own work. A fuller instructor companion is part of the Teaching Edition and will be published here with it.
What you can assign today
- Any of the 207 exercises by identifier. Students open the chapter, write an answer, then press “Check your work” to compare it with the explained solution.
- The fictional capstone packet in Chapter 18: a complete source packet and a memorandum to repair, with a model answer for CC-18-08.
- The quick guide as a one-page handout of model citations, and the citation checker for in-class demonstrations of parsing and short-form resolution.
- Shareable pin lists: pin the exercises for a week, open Your pins, and copy the share link into your syllabus.
Permissions
Classroom use of the exercises is permitted under the terms of use. Please link to pages rather than copying the text in bulk, keep the fiction labels on any excerpt, and attribute the book to its author.
