How to cite a book, treatise or Restatement

Cite a book by author, title, the page or section, and a parenthetical with the edition (if not the first), the publisher when the form calls for it, and the year.

Restatements, model codes and uniform acts are cited by name and section, with the issuing institute and year in the parenthetical.
