Citation practice for the NextGen bar exam

Practice citation form three ways: a timed exam workspace modeled on the NextGen bar exam's formats, typing drills built from the book's verified citations, and memo and brief writing checked by the document checker.

Practice for the NextGen bar exam, and for every memo and brief after it.

What the exam workspace does

The workspace is the room the exam is sat in, rebuilt for citation practice. The same room runs the typing drills and the writing tasks, so the controls you learn in one work in the others.

  • A question pane and a file pane side by side, with a divider you can drag or move from the keyboard; on a phone they stack.
  • A countdown or count-up clock you can hide, with a warning near the end.
  • A navigation bar with every question's status, and a flag for questions to revisit.
  • Highlighting in the file and strike-out on answer choices.
  • A notepad for each question, and a word count under every answer.
  • Autosave in this browser, a Download work link, and a review screen before you end the section.
  • Keyboard shortcuts for every tool, text size and color-scheme settings, and a lock screen.

Questions

Is this affiliated with the National Conference of Bar Examiners?
No. The Citation Code is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by NCBE. The workspace follows the NextGen bar exam's question formats, and every question in it is original.
Does the bar exam grade citation form?
On the bar exam, citation form is not what is graded: NCBE's sample performance-task materials say citations are not required. This practice adds citation work because every memo and brief you write after the exam needs it.
Where is my work saved?
No account needed. Your answers, drafts and best times are saved only in this browser. Checking a writing draft sends its text to the document checker, which reads it to check it and does not store it.
