How to cite a law review article

Cite a law review article by author, title, volume, the journal’s abbreviation, first page, any pinpoint, and the year.

When a journal numbers its volumes by year, the year takes the volume’s place and the closing parenthetical drops out.

Student work is labelled “Note” or “Comment” after the author’s name; the book’s Table E gives each journal’s abbreviation.
