Tribal, foreign and international law

How to cite treaties and international decisions

Cite a treaty by its name, the parties when there are only a few, the date of signing, and the treaty series where it is published.

Cite a decision of an international court or tribunal by case name, the tribunal’s own reporter or document number, and the date, naming the tribunal when the citation does not.
