Foreign & International Sources

Courts, codes, report series and identifiers abroad, each with one real example.

A finding aid for forty-one legal systems, old English reports, twenty-two international bodies and treaties, each part A to Z. Entries give identifiers, court codes, report series and legislation portals, a real decision or document checked against its issuer’s record, and coverage limits. Each row gives what you look up, the form, its basis, and the day in 2026 our saved source was captured (As of). CONVENTION: the cited sources or the stated corpus counts show the form or practice; each key identifies the evidence. REQUIREMENT: an official instrument, named in the key with its scope and start date, sets the form at home; it binds no U.S. filing. CHECKED: a real decision or document whose printed details we confirmed. HOUSE: this book’s choice. UNRESOLVED: not confirmed, so withheld or qualified. Examples keep the issuer’s own language and punctuation; chapter 24 and chapter 25 frame them for a U.S. document. Nothing here speaks to a decision’s force.
